APR 27: Poetry with Simeon Berry & Rachel Mennies

Simeon Berry lives in Somerville, Massachusetts. He has been an Associate Editor for Ploughshares and received a Massachusetts Cultural Council Individual Artist Grant. His first book, Ampersand Revisited (Fence Books), won the 2013 National Poetry Series, and his second book, Monograph (University of Georgia Press), won the 2014 National Poetry Series.

Rachel Mennies is the author of The Glad Hand of God Points Backwards, winner of the 2013 Walt McDonald First-Book Prize in Poetry and finalist for a National Jewish Book Award, and the chapbook No Silence in the Fields. She tweets and reads things for AGNI, series-edits (2015-) for the Walt McDonald First-Book Prize in Poetry at Texas Tech University Press, and teaches writing at Carnegie Mellon University.
