City Books has scaled back its calendar of events in response to COVID-19 and will likely remain very conservative in its scheduling for the foreseeable future.

All events that we do host require advance registration which indicates guests’ willingness to comply with our masking and social distancing policies. Events will be livestreamed in order to reduce demand for on-site attendance and increase accessibility.

Join us for a LIVESTREAM of an in-person event at Vestige Concept Gallery (5417 Butler Street, Lawrenceville) celebrating the release of Pittsburgh author Schereeya’s poetry book “Prayers & Pixies,” a collection of poems exploring identity, nature, and our connection to the mysteries of the universe. Schereeya will be performing a live poetry reading at Vestige on Saturday, November 20. The event is free to the public. Doors open at 6:00 PM.
