City Books now has a digital storefront hosted by Bookshop.org. Bookshop was launched earlier this year–pre-pandemic–to help indie bookstores compete against Amazon and large chain bookdealers. It has been a lifesaver for us as we have alternately ceased & reduced our hours during the COVID crisis.
When you order from City Books via our Bookshop site, YOU ARE SHOPPING LOCAL. Unlike Amazon, Bookshop returns the ENTIRE PROFIT MARGIN to the bookstore.
On our Bookshop home page, you will find curated booklists that appeal to a wide variety of ages and tastes. But, if you don’t see something you like, you can use the search bar and browse to you heart’s content. Even better, you can email City Books directly and we can put together a custom list for you based on your interests or previous buying habits. You can use your custom list as an electronic TBR pile or as a gift registry throughout the year.
